Vendor updated that they are currently experiencing American Express transaction failures due to maintenance activity within the American Express network, which extended beyond its planned duration.
Vendor is actively working with the American Express team to minimize the impact and prevent additional processing failures while the maintenance is underway.
Where possible, we recommend using alternative card brands for new transactions. Merchants may also retry failed American Express transactions after maintenance is complete.
