After the changes were implemented by the R&D team, backup success rates for SharePoint services have stabilized.

Additional changes are being made to improve SharePoint backup performance further and the R&D team will continue to monitor.

The R&D team has implemented configuration changes and decreased daily SharePoint backup frequency from 3x per day to 1x per day to allow the service to catch up. We expect daily backups to be increased back to 3x per day by the end of week.

The R&D team is actively monitoring the results of the changes made.

We are aware of a problem where some Datto SaaS Protection customers hosted on pod 'des1-saas-p1' may experience degraded SharePoint backup performance.


The Kaseya R&D Team has identified the issue and is actively working to resolve it.
